Pawel Abbott shows his frustration at a missed chance |
A first-half goal from Paul Warne kept Oldham's promotion drive on track. Tricky wing play from Chris Taylor constantly opened up the home defence and it was no shock as the league leaders took the lead on the half-hour.
A Chris Porter shot came back off Willy Gueret and Warne was on the spot to side-foot home from inside the area.
The Swans rarely threatened Oldham's defence, in which Will Haining and Sean Gregan excelled, although they improved when Adebayo Akinfenwa came on.
