Proudlock suffered a setback as he stepped up his recovery from a broken leg, and now requires more treatment.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock told the club's website: "Adam's had a scan and his leg is not healing the way we would like it to heal.

"We've waited a long time to have that type of player back, and were all obviously very disappointed for him."
