Taarabt, Holt and Sinclair on Championship shortlist
Taarabt has inspired Championship leaders QPR
Adel Taarabt, Grant Holt and Scott Sinclair have been shortlisted for the Championship Player of the Year award.
Norwich's Holt and Sinclair of Swansea have each scored 16 league goals this season with QPR midfielder Taarabt one behind them.
Will Buckley, Henri Lansbury and Connor Wickham are in the running for the Young Player of the Year prize.
The winners of the Football League Awards will be announced in London on 20 March.
The three shortlisted players for the League One award are Peterborough's Craig Mackail-Smith, Brighton's Glenn Murray and Charlton's Bradley Wright-Phillips.
In League Two, Wycombe's Gareth Ainsworth, Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre and Bury's Ryan Lowe are all in contention.
Northampton's Carling Cup win over Liverpool, Stevenage's FA Cup giant-killing of Newcastle and Watford's 6-1 thrashing of Millwall at The Den have been nominated for the Outstanding Team Performance award.
