Sheffield United boosted their survival hopes with a crucial win over Leeds.
The Blades remain in the bottom three but the result puts the pressure back on the teams above them, while denting Leeds's hopes of automatic promotion.
They took the lead after the break when Leeds defender Eric Lichaj unluckily turned in Nick Montgomery's effort.
Bjorn Helge Riise scored the second when he tucked into the bottom right before Leeds substitute Billy Paynter was sent off for violent conduct.
It was a welcome and hugely deserved three points against the Championship's top scorers, who have now gone two games without a goal as their quest for the second automatic promotion spot shows further signs of wobbling.
Having ended a miserable run of 13 games without a win in their last home game against Nottingham Forest, the hosts began in lively fashion as Matt Lowton headed a corner straight into the hands of keeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Leeds, though, also looked dangerous on the break and Max Gradel was wasteful when he drifted into the box to nod Lichaj's cross wide of the target.
Schmeichel again had to be on his toes to keep out Daniel Bogdanovic, and the keeper produced more acrobatics when he tipped over a rising half-volley from Stephen Quinn and punched over a fierce drive by Ched Evans.
Just before the hour, the deadlock was broken when Quinn cleverly set up Montgomery, whose cross was turned into his own goal by Lichaj.
And the match was effectively settled on 73 minutes when Riise, on loan from Fulham, collected a pass from Quinn to bury the ball home from close range having only been on the pitch for two minutes.
The misery continued for the visitors, who had Paynter sent off in the closing stages following an altercation with Shane Lowry, with the Australian defender claiming he had been stamped on.
