Nottingham Forest slipped to fifth in the Championship as they were held to a goalless draw by a determined Millwall.
The Lions began brighter and Hameur Bouazza lashed a shot over, before Lewis McGugan forced a fingertip save from David Forde for the visitors.
With defences on top, chances were at a premium, McGugan and Chris Cohen's set-pieces providing Forest's main threat.
Gareth McCleary forced another save from Forde but despite some late pressure Forest could not force a win.
The result leaves Billy Davies' men four points behind Swansea in second place with a game in hand and nine points off leaders QPR.
Millwall, on the other hand, will feel they still have an outside chance of sneaking into the play-offs, the point taking them to within seven points of Leeds in sixth.
They struggled to pose problems to Forest's well-organised defence, with leading scorer Steve Morison and Neil Harris both struggling to make an impact.
Morison's most valuable contribution came in his own penalty area as he cleared a dangerous McGugan corner from the left, before Darren Purse had to be alert to get rid of a Cohen delivery from the other flank.
Rob Earnshaw came on for Forest and almost combined with McGugan to get a shot in, before James Henry wasted a fine crossing chance with Kevin Lisbie well-placed in a rare Millwall attack.
Forest now travel to the north-east for a crucial visit to Middlesbrough on Tuesday, while Millwall are next in action at Watford on Saturday.
