Sheffield United and Hull City players square up during the Boxing Day clash between the clubs at Bramall Lane
Championship trio Sheffield United, Hull City and Norwich City have been charged with failing to control their players by the Football Association.
It follows incidents during the clubs' Christmas fixtures.
Sheffield United and Hull were charged following a mass confrontation between players during the fixture between the clubs at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day.
The Blades face a second charge of mass confrontation, along with Norwich, following their game on Tuesday.
All three clubs have been given until 5 January to respond to the charges.
Sheffield United midfielder Andy Reid has accepted a charge of violent conduct following the clash at Carrow Road and will be suspended for three games.
