Tomasz Cywka scored twice as Derby cruised to a convincing win over Watford to go seventh in the table.
John Brayford charged through the defence to open the scoring with his first Derby goal, before Cywka's deflected effort doubled the lead.
Matthew Whichelow pulled one back by chipping Frank Fielding but Shefki Kuqi restored Derby's two-goal advantage after a pass from Paul Green.
Cywka dribbled into the area to hit his second goal nine minutes from time.
The Rams were confident after winning their previous three home games and Green was denied a fourth minute opener by Watford keeper Scott Loach after good work by Cywka and Alberto Bueno.
Green was involved in the opening goal which was scored by Brayford, who burst through the Watford backline before finishing in style.
John Eustace had Watford's first chance on the half hour but his header was blocked by Dean Leacock.
But they were quickly two down as Cywka collected Green's pass and beat Loach with a deflected shot.
Watford started the second half well and after Troy Deeney missed a good chance, Whichelow pulled one back by chipping Frank Fielding after a pass by Stephen McGinn.
But hopes of a comeback were shortlived as Kuqi, on as a first-half substitute for the injured Bueno, controlled Green's pass on his chest before firing home to make it 3-1.
Watford tried to hit back again, but Derby made the game safe as Cywka worked his way into the area before firing past the helpless Loach.
Derby have now lost just once in their last eight Championship games while Watford slip to ninth in the table.
