Hull City and Nottingham Forest contested a tight and competitive draw that ensured both remained in the lower reaches of the Championship table.
Luke Chambers wasted a brilliant chance for Forest shortly after the restart, heading wide from four yards.
Robert Earnshaw had a strike ruled out for offside and went close with a glancing header that drifted wide.
Hull's best effort came early on when Jimmy Bullard forced a fingertip save from Lee Camp with a crisp strike.
The Tigers were the better side in an opening half of precious few chances, while Forest improved after the break.
Daniel Ayala, on loan at Hull from Liverpool, was excellent in the Hull defence, snuffing out a series of dangerous positions for the visiting team.
The Tigers have now won two and drawn two of their four home Championship fixtures - it is the three straight away defeats that remains the big problem for boss Nigel Pearson.
Forest kept their first clean sheet away from home since Boxing Day and have now drawn five of their seven fixtures.
