Blackpool beat Doncaster to make it four wins in a row and keep the heat on Championship play-off rivals Leicester.
Blackpool went in front on 27 minutes when the ball ran loose from Stephen Crainey's cross and DJ Campbell stabbed home left-footed from close range.
Doncaster were denied an equaliser when James Hayter headed Gareth Roberts's cross against the bar on 64 minutes.
Three minutes later Stephen Dobbie made it 2-0 when he curled a right-footed shot inside the far post from 12 yards.
Ian Holloway's in-form Blackpool team have now scored 13 goals in their last four league games.
But Doncaster, beaten 2-1 at home by lowly Plymouth on Saturday, have taken only four points from their last five matches and their play-off bid has stalled dramatically.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway: "I am bursting with pride for my lads. If we can extend the season, so be it, I will be a delighted man.
"I think today showed we have strength in depth and I can take players on and off without affecting our style.
"I was very pleased with the two goals. The first was a real goal-poacher's effort, and the second a great strike."
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll: "I never really thought we had a serious chance of the play-offs in the first place.
"We are in our second season in the Championship, and I will not be losing any sleep over this.
"The pitch made it very difficult for the two footballing sides, but I am delighted for Blackpool. If they make it to the play-offs, they will champion the cause of the little clubs like ourselves."
