Plymouth and Barnsley played out an entertaining draw that does little to help Argyle's battle against the drop.
Torrential rain caused the original November fixture to be controversially abandoned with Barnsley 4-1 ahead.
But a string of fine saves from David Stockdale earned Plymouth a point, Daniel Bogdanovic and Iain Hume, twice, denied in one-on-one situations.
Plymouth fashioned chances too, but Tykes keeper Luke Steele denied Bradley Wright-Phillips and Bondz N'Gala.
The stalemate leaves the hosts five points still adrift of safety, though Barnsley now appear safe with 50 points from 40 games, eight clear of Crystal Palace in 22nd spot.
Plymouth boss Paul Mariner: "All points are useful and this one is no different. I will know how valuable it is on May 2.
"I expect (Barnsley manager) Mark (Robins) will say that David Stockdale has made some decent saves and he would be right but their keeper also had to make saves and I was proud of the way we played under a little bit of adversity.
"The team are showing great fighting spirit and that's what you need. They are all 100 per cent committed."
Barnsley boss Mark Robins: "We could have won the game fairly comfortably. I think it was a game where we have not taken our chances. We created good ones.
"They hit the bar and the post, we hit bar in the first half and had countless one-on-ones and it's just a mixture of bad decision-making and decent keeping.
"But we have got a point and at least now we are in the 50s."
