Sheffield United 4-3 Plymouth

Jamie Ward scored twice as Sheffield United continued their push for a Championship play-off place.

Henri Camara struck from 12 yards, while Ward smashed home an 18-yard volley and then converted a Nyron Nosworthy pass to put United 3-0 up.

Yannick Bolasie replied for Plymouth after some hesitant defending and Joe Mason converted a flick-on.

But Richard Cresswell made it 4-2 after a defensive mistake before Jamie Mackie scored a 20-yard consolation volley.

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell:

"We were coasting and then we started to do things that we shouldn't have been doing.

"But the boys showed really good guts to come through and you're going to need that at this stage - plenty of them in fact.

"The most important thing is getting the points and we did exactly that."

Plymouth head coach Paul Mariner told BBC Radio Devon:

"The first half was not acceptable and the players know that. In the second half, we looked a totally different team.

"We have given away some poor goals, there are no two ways about that."
