Scunthorpe's game with Ipswich was postponed because of a frozen pitch - the first Championship game on Saturday to fall victim to the weather.

Glanford Park failed an early pitch inspection by referee Andy Haines and the match was called off at 0900 GMT.

The pitch was covered since Wednesday and although it was not entirely frozen, Haines felt it would become so when the covers were taken off.

No new date has yet been arranged for the game.
