Reading 2-4 Crystal Palace

Victor Moses stole the show as Crystal Palace sealed a fine win at Reading.

Defender Nathaniel Clyne gave Palace an early lead after bursting forward before Alex Pearce headed an equaliser.

Darren Ambrose then restored the advantage with a smart finish before the outstanding Moses curled a brilliant third just before half-time.

Gylfi Sigurdsson made it 3-2 from the spot after a foul on Grzegorz Rasiak but a superb solo effort from Moses secured the win in the dying minutes.

Reading manager Brendan Rodgers:

"We got what we deserved from the game which was nothing.

"We started poorly and then got worse. We conceded twice in first-half stoppage time which is incredible really and that totally threw us.

"If we are going to win games here then we need to be better than that. Victor Moses was outstanding all night and he is a Premier League talent."

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock on 18-year-old goal-scorer Victor Moses:

"You could tell that Victor was on his game and he has been since I bought him back into the team.

"Everybody is looking at him now. They pay £17m for players like that in the Premier League.

"You don't get 18-year-old British players like that very often and he will go for sure."
