Darren Ambrose scored his ninth goal of the season as his penalty earned Crystal Palace a point at QPR.
QPR, who moved up to sixth, took an early lead when Adel Taarabt was fouled by Danny Butterfield and Akos Buszaky stepped up to slot in from the spot.
Palace went close as Stern John hit the post and Alessane N'Diaye's volley was cleared off the line by Buszaky.
Julian Speroni made several fine saves for Palace and Ambrose got them a point after Fitz Hall fouled Freddie Sears.
Speroni had already saved brilliantly from Rangers' former Palace winger Wayne Routledge and he made an even better stop from Alejandro Faurlin's drive.
Both teams had chances to win it late on, but Palace were denied when Radek Cerny got down well to keep out Alan Lee's header.
Speroni had the last laugh, superbly clawing away Buzsaky's curling free-kick and Rowan Vine's late volley to secure a point for Neil Warnock's men, who stay 13th.
QPR boss Jim Magilton: "We were at home so it is two points dropped. Look at the amount of chances we created, we could have been out of sight by half-time.
"Sometimes you rue missed chances and tonight was one of those games. And then the keeper has kept them in it.
"I didn't see much argument from them about our penalty and I didn't see much argument from us about theirs either."
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock: "Julian Speroni is the best keeper in this division by a mile and I don't see anyone better in the Premier League.
"It's good that nobody rates him. But he's not leaving while I'm manager - unless I take him somewhere with me.
"I'm disappointed in a way we didn't win, but it was a good game and the players gave me everything."
