Watford 2-2 Sheff Wed

Francis Jeffers scored a last-minute penalty to earn Sheffield Wednesday a share of the points with Watford.

Marcus Tudgay's header put the Owls in front but Mark Beevers sliced the ball into his own net as Watford levelled.

Watford went ahead when Jobi McAnuff headed in at the far post before they were denied a penalty when Tamas Priskin looked to have been fouled.

But in injury time, Jon Harley fouled Jermaine Johnson in the box and Jeffers stepped up to smash home the penalty.

Watford boss Brendan Rodgers on Tamas Priskin not being awarded a penalty:
"Tamas Priskin was through one on one.

"Anyone who's seen Tamas Priskin in the last six weeks will tell you that's a goal. But it's unbelievable.

"How he's (the referee) produced a yellow I don't know. He wasn't very good.

"But I will look at the positive. Maybe a few months ago that might have been a game we would have lost."

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws:
"I think it was quite fortunate that he decided it was two players coming together, rather than what they call a professional foul.

"That's why he probably only gave a yellow, but I was expecting a red as everyone else was I think.

"With referees you take the good and you take the bad. I had the bad last game against Preston and I'll have to take the good today."
