Sheff Wed 1-1 Birmingham

Birmingham's Kevin Phillips battles with Sheffield Wednesday's Lewis Buxton

Veteran striker Kevin Phillips headed home an injury-time goal to earn promotion-chasing Birmingham a point against Sheffield Wednesday.

New signing Lewis Buxton looked to have won the points for the Owls with his first goal for the club, heading in after his initial shot was blocked.

Only Liam Ridgewell's expertly-timed tackle stopped Leon Clarke extending the lead as Wednesday really got going.

But at the death Phillips headed in Scott Sinclair's cross to earn a draw.
