A controversial Craig Beattie strike and a fine John Oster finish helped Crystal Palace beat Norwich in Tuesday's Championship clash.
The visitors took the lead when Patrick McCarthy's long ball found Beattie who poked the ball under keeper David Marshall despite suspicions of offside.
Palace doubled their lead just before half-time when Oster chipped the ball brilliantly over a stranded Marshall.
The hosts pulled one back with Matthew Pattison nodding in Lee Croft's cross.
Norwich manager Glenn Roeder told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"Nobody will change my opinion that Palace didn't deserve to be two up, they were very fortunate, it was about us shooting ourselves in the head to be honest.
"Two absolutely woeful goals, we didn't get any help from the referee's assistant on the first one, although I've seen it now and it was a closer call than I first thought, but he's a yard offside.
"The second goal was absolutely ridiculous, we lose easy possession in the centre of midfield, and the ball ends up going in the back of the net, scruffy goal."
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock on John Oster's goal:
"You will never see a better piece of skill than that anywhere in the world.
"It was a goal that was worthy of winning any game, although I've just reminded John that he was supposed to be marking Matthew Pattison when he scored!
"John has always had that sort of thing in him and I'm delighted with the way he is playing for us at the moment."
