Swansea's debutant goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos saved the day for his new side with an 85th-minute penalty block against Doncaster.
The Greek keeper, signed on loan from Coventry City last month, saved Paul Heffernan's spot-kick to earn a draw.
Midfielder Darren Pratley gave away the penalty after a pull in the box.
The Swans nearly went on to sneak a victory but Neil Sullivan tipped Guillem Bauza's last-minute effort over the bar with a one-handed save.
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll: "Paul Heffernan's taken it (the penalty) well. People say you make your own luck and they're right.

"We've given away really poor goals and not scored from clear-cut chances, so there lies our problem.
"We're not playing badly. At times we know we can play, but we just need the rub of the green."
Swansea manager Roberto Martinez: "I never thought it was a penalty, but Dimi is a specialist in that department.
"You can see in training that he seems to have a sixth sense. I think he looked really natural.
"It's important when you bring someone that he knows the way we work, the way we play and he knows the players."
