Doncaster ended a run of six straight defeats thanks to a goalless draw with Blackpool at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The home side created numerous chances with Stuart Elliot and Jason Price both denied by Blackpool goalkeeper Paul Rachubka in the first-half.
Both sides had penalty appeals waved away as first Elliot and then Ben Burgess appeared to be hauled down.
Martin Woods was denied by the crossbar in stoppage time as Doncaster were forced to settle for a point.
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll: "I thought Blackpool came to be very difficult to beat. They've got four or five (who are) 6ft plus and dangerous at set-pieces.
"We've trained all week for this to be different to previous games.
"We've plugged away and plugged away. Overall I thought it was a good performance.
"We said at the start of the season that any point in this division you've got to be glad for. Our performances have merited us more points but we've not got them."
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson on penalty not being awarded: "The only person in the ground who didn't think it was a penalty was the referee.
"Our player is not going to go down for no reason when he's six yards out with a free header.
