Eastwood impressed in front of goal for the visitors
Coventry and Blackpool shared the spoils in a hard-fought game at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
Freddy Eastwood made up for an early headed miss by grabbing the equaliser for the visitors with a fabulous strike in the second half.
The hosts took the lead after good work from Steve Kabba and Gary Taylor-Fletcher, and Ben Burgess fired in from the edge of the box.
Michael Mifsud went close to the winner for the Sky Blues in injury time.
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson: "Freddy Eastwood seems to like Blackpool. He scored against us for Southend, for Wolves, and now for Coventry.
"I think the draw was about right. It was a fair reflection of the game. We could not get much tempo going in the first half but we had them on the run for 25 minutes in the second period.
"I think that we would have got the victory had Ben Burgess' header gone in but Coventry are a good side and they came back at us strongly."
Coventry boss Chris Coleman: "When we came here last season we were thrashed 4-0. It is not an easy ground to come to but I think we bossed the first half.
"What we are not doing is getting any luck in front of goal. Blackpool got bodies in the way when it counted and the ball did not fall for us at all.
"Blackpool work hard - you have to if you are going to beat Birmingham at their ground - that's why I'm more than happy with today's outcome."
