Cardiff City and Bristol City produced a memorable contest, but no goals at Ninian Park and both sides remain unbeaten in the Championship.
Jay Bothroyd missed the Bluebirds best chance of the first-half and at the other end Nicky Maynard hit the bar.
Bothroyd missed another chance 11 minutes after the break, but there were few chances for either side in the second-half.
The atmosphere was electrifying, but a draw was fair.
Bluebirds manager Dave Jones: "A 0-0 is no disgrace because we played good football.

"Someone needed to score to let it be really open and I think they were trying to catch us on the counter-attack while we continued to apply pressure.
"I thought the fans made the game."
Robins boss Gary Johnson: "I think 0-0 was the right result on the day.
"Both teams tried to win it in the second half. Cardiff started very well and put us under a lot of pressure.
"Both sets of defenders probably won the day."
