Ipswich 0-0 QPR

Ipswich's play-off hopes were dented by an inspired performance from QPR keeper Lee Camp, who kept them at bay with a number of fine saves.

And when the hosts did beat Camp, they were denied by the woodwork, as Danny Haynes drilled a shot against the post in the first half.

In the 85th minute Rangers defender Michael Mancienne flicked an Owen Garvan corner onto the post.

And Velice Sumulikoski had a header cleared off the line from the rebound.

Ipswich manager Jim Magilton: "We are at home. We expect to win home games. For me, it's two points dropped.

"The 'keeper has made two world-class saves for them. It's a case of missed chances.

"Credit to QPR, they came and gave us a game and will probably go away happier than we are. Whether that is going to cost us, we will have to wait and see."

QPR manager Luigi de Canio: "This is a really important and valuable point we've achieved today against a team that's possibly the best team we've faced this year in the Championship.

"I think it was a good game for both teams. It was just a shame really there were no goals.

"We were missing three or four very important players and people have stepped up and done very well."
