West Brom returned to winning ways against Plymouth to get their promotion challenge back on track. Substitute Zoltan Gera broke the deadlock when he nipped in to score after Ishmael Miller's shot was saved.
Miller then scored when - with his back to goal - he flicked the ball over his head and into the far corner much to his and everyone's surprise.
Roman Bednar swept in a shot - after a Jonathan Greening's cross was headed back across goal - to wrap up the win.
West Brom boss Tony Mowbray:
"We've dropped away from the top two but there is a determination to make sure everyone knows that we're still fighting for promotion.
"There was an edginess about us and I can understand that but there was a real determination about them as well.
"I can't remember Dean Kiely having a save to make and we were well set out."
Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock:
"The second goal was zany to say the least and the first was a comedy of
errors.
"Two or three boys had the chance to get it away and they didn't and you can't
afford to give goals away like that against a team of this quality. They can
hurt you in all kinds of areas without you helping them out.
"The confidence oozed into their team when they got the goal. You saw
confident, quality players emerge from somewhere.
"After we lost the second goal, a few heads went down and we backed off and
that is what I was disappointed with."
