Crystal Palace 1-1 Norwich
Striker Clinton Morrison scored his ninth goal in 11 matches to deny Glenn Roeder's Norwich all three points at Crystal Palace.

Darel Russell gave the Canaries the lead when he was first to pounce on team-mate Dion Dublin's mis-hit volley.

But Palace equalised after the break when Morrison cleverly flicked in Ben Watson's long ball with the back of his head from close range.

Dublin went close late in the game, scooping over following a good move.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock said:
"We've had four games in 10 days and it took a lot out of the lads and that showed.

"That's about six or seven times we've gone a goal behind during the run so it was an uphill battle.

"But we don't know when we're beat and we came strong in the second half. We created a few chances but we got punished for a bit of sloppiness."

Norwich City boss Glenn Roeder said:

"We did some analysis and the number of goals they (Palace) score from set-pieces is phenomenal so it's disappointing to be caught out.

"We definitely had the best of it. No-one will change my mind that we were the better side.

"This club can now think about getting back to where it should be."
