Norwich slipped into the relegation zone despite ending a run of four defeats with a draw against Scunthorpe. The Canaries, who have now not scored in five matches, had the better of the game but missed a host of chances.
Veteran home striker Dion Dublin was the main culprit, wasting four decent headed opportunities.
The visitors rarely threatened but could have won it when Cleveland Taylor found Matthew Sparrow but his strike came back off the post from 18 yards.
Norwich City boss Peter Grant on seeing his side drop into the relegation zone:
"We don't like where we are at the moment that's for sure but we have to accept it. "The players were desperate to get the victory and score a few goals but unfortunately it didn't happen.
"Pressure comes with not winning games. I know that but I couldn't have asked any more of them."
Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins:
"IIt was a deserved point. I'm absolutely delighted because Norwich are a good side and it's always a difficult place to come to. "We had our chances and so did they. There was some backs to the wall defending towards the end when we had to go in with fixed bayonets.
"But the lads showed a lot of resolve and got their reward at the end."
