West Brom 1-1 Stoke
Leon Barnett scored a second-half equaliser to maintain's West Brom's unbeaten Championship home record.

Barnett headed home a cross from Felipe Teixeira and Ishmael Miller could have snatched victory late on but his shot was saved by Steve Simonsen.

Ryan Shawcross had headed Stoke ahead after 26 minutes from a corner.

Simonsen parried a left-foot strike from Miller and denied both Robert Koren and Zoltan Gera, while Dean Kiely saved from Stoke's John Eustace.

  • "I was delighted with the display, it was full of determination, character, quality, endeavour.

    "At times it can be frustrating standing there and watching your team but I enjoyed us passing and trying to create against a very stubborn team.

    "It was a contrast of styles but they were very dangerous on the break. They are a real handful for anyone."

    "The players were first-class. They gave absolutely everything for the club and I thought they were fantastic.

    "Three of our defenders were young kids and they were outstanding.

    "We lost Zakuani in the first half but they all stood up and put themselves everywhere. We played against a top team who've spent an absolute fortune."
