Colchester twice came from behind at Blackpool to maintain their unbeaten away record. Blackpool striker Andy Morrell opened when he volleyed in at the far post after David Fox's corner was headed down by Michael Jackson.
Mark Yeates curled in a 25-yards free-kick to level before Shaun Barker headed in another Fox corner.
But just a minute later, Yeates curled in another free-kick from an almost identical position as his first effort.
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson:
"We've done ever so well but keep shooting ourselves in the foot. "Again we've conceded straight after we've scored. We've been given
chances this week to win two games and we've ended up with three draws.
"We're playing well at the moment but we've got to learn quickly and we need
to win games when we're on top."
Colchester boss Geraint Williams:
"They were great bits of individual skill from Yeates and I think that's hard to stop. "For somebody to make the ball bend over the wall and dip into the corner twice in one game, you've got to take your hat off to them.
"When you've got a chance of winning, you've got to take it."
