Leicester came from behind to leapfrog Stoke in the Championship and extend their unbeaten run to eight matches. Ricardo Fuller made Danny Tiatto pay for an earlier miss when he connected with Danny Higginbotham's free-kick.
But the Foxes were level within three minutes, Iain Hume pouncing to score from 12 yards after Momo Sylla's free-kick was only partially cleared.
Stephen Hughes completed the comeback with a 25-yard shot, although Fuller saw a 75th-minute shot hit the bar.
Leicester boss Rob Kelly:
"It was a typical Championship game. It had three pieces of quality and luckily we produced two of them. "Our midfielders Andy Johnson and Stephen Hughes are pulling themselves through matches and that epitomises our spirit."
Stoke boss Tony Pulis:
"Two poor goals cost us the game. The first goal came from a free-kick that shouldn't have been and the second one was a poor one. "We are disappointed. You can't come away from home and concede two goals and expect to win.
"You always need a little bit of luck in this game and we didn't have much of it tonight."
