Leeds will begin life in the new Football League Championship with a home match against Derby on 7 August. The Elland Road side - back in the second tier for the first time since 1990 - face a tough start, with games against Wolves and Nottingham Forest.
But arguably the biggest match of the opening day will see fellow relegated club Leicester City host West Ham.
Other highlights include Wolves going to Stoke while promoted Plymouth entertain FA Cup finalists Millwall.
Fellow new boys QPR host Rotherham while Brighton - successful in the play-offs at the expense of Bristol City - travel to Reading.
