The striker was substituted at half-time during the 2-1 defeat by Australia at the Madejski Stadium, with reports suggesting he was feeling pain in the knee which was operated on last year.

But a club spokesman said: "There is no problem. It had been agreed beforehand by (North End manager) Craig Brown and (Jamaica technical director) Carl Brown that Ricardo would come off at half-time."
