Salisbury City lose their main sponsor after nine years
Salisbury City have parted company with long-serving sponsors In-Excess.
Carl Chambers, In-Excess managing director, released a letter this week criticising the board and the treatment of former general manager Nick Holmes.
He claimed there had been a "wholesale destruction of a community club" during the last six months, prompting them to end their nine-year association.
A Salisbury statement: "It is always disappointing to lose a sponsor for whatever reason."
The Whites board also felt that Chambers' criticism had been unfair.
Their statement added: "It would have been helpful for the club to have had the opportunity to discuss the matter with him before he released the letter, which would have reduced the number of inaccuracies contained within it."
Chambers told BBC Wiltshire that he would continue to back the club and wished them all the best in the future.
Salisbury will reveal their new sponsor at the kit launch during their open day on 31 July.
