King's Lynn's preparations for the new campaign have been boosted by the signing of five new players.
Phil Newton, Matthew Hales, Kieran Doherty, Jamie Allsop and Kyle Plumb have all penned deals at The Walks.
Newton, 20, is a former Portsmouth and Bournemouth trainee left-back while Doherty has recently been playing for West Lynn.
Allsop featured at left-back for Ely City last season, forward Plumb arrives from Swaffham as does goalkeeper Hales.
Newton was released by Bournemouth in May 2008 and has failed to play consistent football over the last 12 months.
He said: "It is true that I haven't played for a year but I had a training session with the team the other day and I felt really good, I can't wait to get started and I am looking forward to all the challenges ahead."
Meanwhile Lynn's friendly with Ely City on Saturday has been cancelled, but the club are hopeful of arranging another fixture.
