Ten-man Forest Green came from behind to beat Altrincham and give their survival hopes a massive boost.
Alty twice led, and went in 3-1 up at the break thanks to a Chris Senior strike, a header from Rob Williams and Shaun Densmore's penalty.
But a Reece Styche effort and David Brown's penalty, which added to Jonathan Smith's close-range first-half strike, pulled Green level.
And, although Brown saw red late on, Mark Preece fired in a late winner.
Senior had underlined Alty's bright start when he finished neatly from Chris Denham's pass in the 12th minute.
Green then hit back through Smith's close-range finish.
But Williams headed home before the visitors increased their lead on the stroke of half-time through Densmore's penalty after Jared Hodgkiss had been penalised for handball.
Styche then gave Green hope and the hosts levelled through Brown after Greg Young had brought down Preece.
The fightback was complete when Preece ran through to make it three goals in eight minutes.
And player-coach Brown's departure for a second yellow card only took a little of the gloss off a victory which lifts Dave Hockaday's Green to within two points of safety.
