Boston United have signed former Notts County striker Spencer Weir-Daley.
The 24-year-old, who has also played for Nottingham Forest, Macclesfield, Lincoln City and Bradford, was released by the Magpies in January.
Boston joint-manager Paul Hurst told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I think it's a signing the fans will be pleased with.
"He'll add something a bit different to the squad and hopefully bring some more goals to the team, though to be fair they have started scoring recently."
Weir-Daley could make his debut for the high-riding Pilgrims in Saturday's Unibond Premier Division match at second-placed Nantwich Town.
If Ashton United lose and Retford United and King's Lynn both fail to win, victory for Boston would take them to the top of the table.
