Oxford City secretary John Shepherd says the club are thrilled to be nominated for "club of the year" at the Oxfordshire sports awards.
City earned promotion to the Southern League Premier in the summer, but Shepherd says this also recognises their progress off the pitch.
"We are moving forward quite rapidly," Shepherd told BBC Oxford.
"The number of teams we have attached to the club is about 30, of all ages, both female and male."
He added: "It is a credit to everyone who is working hard at the club that is has been recognised in this way."
City face competition for the prize from fellow nominees Abingdon gymnastics club and Witney rugby club.
All the shortlisted nominees have been invited to the prestigious awards evening on Friday, 13 November.
The winners will be announced by BBC Oxford, with all the reaction on 95.2 FM the following day.
