AFC Telford United could be on the brink of making a new signing for their trip to Burscough despite delays in the player's transfer.
Telford assistant manager Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We hope to have someone in for Saturday."
The Bucks have not been able to complete the transfer of the unnamed player yet because they have had to serve a seven-day notice.
Telford are back in league action after beating Hendon 2-1 in the FA Cup.
