Winters has impressed since moving to Brackley

Brackley Town boss Phil Lines says he will support winger Tom Winters if the opportunity for him to return to professional football materialises.

Lines acknowledges that there have been suggestions of a possible return to Oxford United for Winters.

"There have been lots of rumours, but no contact from Oxford," said Lines.

"He has been first class for us. Tom should be playing at a higher level. Though it would be a blow to lose him, we would be glad for him."
