Tanzania to host Challenge Cup
Tanzania
The Tanzania team will have home advantage
The 2002 East and Central African Senior Challenge Cup will be held in Tanzania, while Uganda will host the 2003 regional club championship.

The Council of East and Central Africa Football association (Cecafa) has said that preparations for the club championship were complete and all the expected ten teams had confirmed participation.

Cecafa head Nicholas Musonye said Cecafa has revised certain fixtures to accomodate the clubs that are taking part in the continental club championships.

"We have finalised everything and everybody is looking forward to the championship" he said.

The last Senior Challenge Cup was held in Kigali, Rwanda last month and the club event will be in Zanzibar next month.
