Foe was just starting to make his mark at Man City |
Manchester City are to investigate ways they can support the family of Marc-Vivien Foe, following his sudden death three months ago. The City midfielder, died in June after collapsing on the pitch, during Cameroon's Confederations Cup semi-final match in Paris.
Now his former manager, Kevin Keegan, has met with Foe's wife to discuss how the club can help support her family.

Keegan has already pledged to co-manage a side made up of the best players from Foe's former clubs - City, Lens and Lyon - for an exhibition match against Cameroon in memory of the player.
Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Steve Marlet have already agreed to take part in the match, which will be played in Lyon on 11 November.
Keegan has also promised to make every member of the City squad not required for international duty that week available as well.
However, Keegan is still hoping City can provide a more personal response to Foe's death and he has invited the player's wife Marie-Louise to England to discuss the best way forward.
"As a club we have to do something and we will," he said.
"We just need a little bit of time to come up with the right solution to the problems Marc's death has caused.
"I had a meeting with his wife because it is my job, and the club's job, to ensure she and her children are looked after.
