French champions Monaco have signed experienced Auxerre midfielder Moussa Sab for an undisclosed fee.

The 32-year-old Algerian international will join Monaco at the end of the season on a two-year contract.

Sab was part of Auxerre's French League and Cup double-winning side in 1996.

He then joined Valencia in 1997 before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 1998, where he was troubled by injury and then could not get back into the side.

Sab left in 1999 for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia and played in last year's World Club Championship in Brazil, before rejoining Auxerre this season.
