Guernsey will play its first international football match since the 2009 Uefa Regions Cup in Croatia.

Guernsey's Under-19s side will play the Northern Ireland Under-18s in the game on 31 January.

Under-21s coach Martyn De Garis will manage the island team and the squad is due to be announced shortly.

Mark Le Tissier, Guernsey FA chairman, said the fixture was a great opportunity for the island's younger players to further their experience.

The match is set to kick off at 1930 BST.
