The media dominated the second half but could not score
Guernsey's media football team made a stirring comeback but just fell short against the island's police, losing 4-3 at the Corbet Field on Tuesday.
The media scored first but two late goals in the first half saw them trail 4-2 going into the break.
The media dominated the second half but failed to capitalise on their possession, scoring just one goal.
Media manager Aaron Scoones told the BBC: "We were all over them, but full credit to the police."
This was the third time the two sides have competed for the Crimestoppers Cup and the police are so far undefeated.
The matches raise funds for the Crimestoppers charity - a free phone anonymous service which allows anyone to report information relating to criminal activities.
