The multi-million pound centre at Burton is likely to take around three years to develop. The development is set to include 13 pitches, a media centre and accomodation for up to 300 people. Protesters backing the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England had urged East Staffordshire Borough Council to reject the proposal. All England teams, including the senior side and the Under 21s, will use the centre for training and big-match preparation. | Other top Football stories: Links to top Football stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
