Craig Lindfield signs new deal at Accrington Stanley

Lindfield has made 72 appearances for Accrington and Macclesfield

Accrington Stanley striker Craig Lindfield has signed a new contract with the League Two club.

The 22-year-old, who has scored three goals in two spells with Stanley, has agreed a 12-month deal.

He made 17 appearances for the Reds last season after rejoining the club from Macclesfield Town.

The former Liverpool trainee's decision to stay with Accrington comes 24 hours after Sean Hessey and Peter Murphy, external also signed new contracts with the club.

Andy Procter, Dean Winnard and Luke Joyce, external all agreed new two-year contracts late last month.
