Bittner won Forest Green's supporters' player of the season award
Goalkeeper James Bittner has agreed a fresh two-year contract with Forest Green Rovers.
The 29-year-old featured 47 times for the Blue Square Bet Premier club this season after joining from Sailsbury on a free transfer in June 2010.
Bittner said: "I had a couple of offers but there was no chance of me leaving.
"The club is financially sound now and with the gaffer [Dave Hockaday] and the chairman [Dale Vince] on board - the future is really bright."
Manager Hockaday added: "James is as good as there is in the league and I am delighted to have him on board."
