Football Association charges Middlesbrough winger Emnes

Middlesbrough winger Marvin Emnes has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.

The charge relates to an incident that occurred during Saturday's 2-1 win at Sheffield United.

Emnes, 22, has travelled with the rest of Tony Mowbray's squad ahead of Tuesday's trip to Ipswich and has until 1800 BST to respond.

He joined the Teessiders from Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam in July 2008 for a fee of £3.5m.
