Jersey's Les Quennevais Kenpo Karate School returned from the World Karate Championships in Ireland with a haul of 26 medals. A total of 27 countries entered the four day event, with over 1,000 competitors taking part. The Jersey team of 11 competitors finished with an impressive total of 15 gold medals at the Dublin event. The Les Quennevais team's tally was then bolstered by eight silvers and three bronze medals.
