England women clinch series win
Women's one-day international, Rose Bowl: England 195-7 (45.4 overs) bt India 192-8 (50 overs) by three wickets

Sarah Taylor
Taylor, 17, showed maturity beyond her years
Jane Smit and Katherine Brunt saw England's women home to a three-wicket win over India to take a winning 3-0 lead in their one-day series.

Captain Mithali Raj (47), Anjum Chopra (53) and Hemlata Kala (40) were the main contributors in India's 192-8.

The hosts made a poor start when Jhulan Goswami (3-20) reduced them to 17-3.

But teenager Sarah Taylor (61) played superbly and was supported by Jenny Gunn (46) before Smit and Brunt eased them to victory with 4.2 overs left.

Skipper Charlotte Edwards said: "It's pleasing because we had a tough tour in the winter in India and lost 4-1 so hopefully we can finish this one 4-0.

"I was starting to get nervous but the girls in the middle got us through and the tail saw us through.

"It's a great win, Sarah showed a lot of maturity and it bodes well for us - we have a lot of depth."
