Legendary cricket commentator Henry Blofeld has received his OBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace. Blofeld was rewarded for his work in nearly 30 years of commentating.
"A radio colleague described my OBE as 'Odd But Entertaining'," the 63-year-old said after receiving his award.
Blofeld joined TMS in the early 1970s and has since become the voice of cricket for many fans.
He left TMS for a brief spell with BSkyB before returning to Radio 4 in 1994.
