Oxfordshire have made the MCCA Trophy quarter-finals after Sunday's emphatic nine-wicket win over Bedfordshire. Although Cheshire topped Group One, Oxfordshire finished in second above Shropshire on superior run-rate. Jamie Hewitt top-scored for Oxfordshire with an unbeaten 74 as they reached their victory target of 195 with 16 overs to spare. Earlier, after Oxon had won the toss, veteran Keith Arnold took 3-19 to limit Beds to 194-9 from their 50 overs. Oxfordshire's quarter-final will be against Staffordshire at Leek on 18 June.
